X.4538 To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}4/M6.12.22. GOSHAWK CHASSIS WEIGHTS. X.4538. In connection with your Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}4/LG20.11.22., we note that the weight of the complete chassis is given as 2378 lbs. "This is the chassis complete with four tyres, battery, spare wheel carrier, step irons, instrument board, full of petrol, and water". A similar figure has been given to Sales by EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} for the complete weight of the chassis as above, plus the spare wheel and tyre. We think that this latter is correct. Will you please confirm?
