To E/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} c. to Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} c. to By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} X523 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager}11/KW.19.3.36. With reference to memo. E/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}7/MN.9.3.36. concerning the metal spraying of exhaust tail pipes, we are already experimenting with "Aluminized" downtake pipes and front expansion boxes, and we are wondering if Mr. Sprott's car has been similarly treated. It is a special method of spraying aluminium on to metal and is done by Metallization Ltd., Dudley. Would it be possible for Mn. to let us know the exact process of metal spraying used on Mr. Sprott's car. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/G.H.Whyman. | ||
