Exhaust Pipes.
Your Ref: E/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}4/MN.26.3.36.

I am sorry I cannot give details of the process employed on the exhaust pipe of Mr. Sprott's car.

The only information I have came from Carpenter of Hoopers who casually mentioned that Mr. Sprott, who is a director of the British Oxygen Co. and who bought a 20/25 H.P. car from Hoopers, had had the exhaust pipe "metal sprayed" by his own Company, i.e. the British Oxygen Co., and that the treatment was standing up well.

Mr. Carpenter told me that from his knowledge of Mr. Sprott he thought he would be pleased to give us details of the scheme on application so I agree with you that the best plan would be for the Experimental Department to get into touch with him.

His address is :-

E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} W. Sprott Esq.,

Victoria Station House,

Westminster,

London, S. W. 1.
