BACK END OF 20/25 CHASSIS.

Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} tells us that the wheel carrier question is the same on the 20/25 chassis as on the 40/50 model, concerning which we have written you separately - that is to say - on long bodies there need be no spare wheel at the back.

Because of this Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} wants to know what are your commitments in regard to the rear wheel carriers and luggage grids of the present type.

Please let us have this information as quickly as you can.

We are told by EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} that when there is no rear wheel carrier on a 20/25 chassis it will be possible to utilise a luggage grid of the new design shewn in N.Sch:3032 by merely shortening the bars to conform with the narrower chassis frame.

This, of course, is a very desirable state of affairs as it should make for economy, and we shall be glad to have your confirmation that such interchangeability will be possible.
