With further reference to our Whr{Mr Wheeler}/GS73/AP.21.5.28 we wish to advise you that we have now been afforded an opportunity of discussing with LK.{L. King} the question of balloon tyres in India.

LK.{L. King} confirms that these tyres are in his opinion quite unsuitable for Shikar in view of the fact that they puncture so readily, and is of the opinion that oversize high pressure tyres are what are required.

LK.{L. King} went even further than this and advised us that in his opinion Balloon tyres are not very suitable for general use in India in districts where punctures are prevalent.

We are communicating LK{L. King}'s views to Works and will write you further in due course.

Whr{Mr Wheeler}/Ro.{C. C. Rose - Export Manager}
