RE 20 HP CHASSIS - SPRING DRIVE - SEC:5020.

Alteration No.8678/E to F.53266 - Continental Bakelite Washer modifies the thickness from .050±7 to .062±7 to suit Makers' stock.

This alteration allows these damping washers to be produced from the scrap of the larger slipper flywheel washers E.53172.

Will EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} please inform us [STAMPED: EXAMINED] if this increase in thickness affects the working of the Spring Drive by the small addition to the Damping Load.
