8th. April 1938.

Messrs. Wilmot-Breeden Ltd.,
Eastern Works,
Camden Street,
BIRMINGHAM, 1.

For the attention of Mr.Blair.

Dear Sirs,

Referring to yesterday's and to-day's telephone conversations, this is to confirm that we are ready to accept mild upset end studs for the Bentley A type stabilisers as fitted to the one end of our sample bumpers. We shall also arrange for the distance pieces for the simplified silent-bloc bushes necessary after the first 40 bumpers to be produced by us.

In agreeing to these modifications we shall expect the full necessary price adjustments to be made.

In view of these alterations we should like to have a date for the delivery of the first 20 bumpers, as we are practically in a state of building chassis without bumpers. After the first 20 we can give you a month owing to certain works alterations.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
