BY/EG. c. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} -------- 6117. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}11/G.4.11.38. CHILDS D.CD.947. This scheme shows a proposal for extending the wiring harness from dash to rear of instrument board. At present the harness finishes on the dash, with individual cables across to the instrument board bunched together. Continuing the harness should make a much tidier job. It is intended to clip the harness along the top of the instrument board (rear face) and feed down to the various switches as required. This scheme is for use with the new switches to D.CD.834, which are suitable for separate mounting or for grouping. The thickness of Sepak will require to be reduced to about .375 over the area occupied by the cables and harness on dash to avoid bulging. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
