SP{Mr Spinney}6/DC12DEC21 12th December, 1921. Messrs. Bleriot Limited, 2/4, Catesby Street, Walworth, S.E.17. Dear Sirs, Headlamps Many thanks for allowing us to inspect your headlamps, specially made for concealed cable brackets. The writer confirms his opinion that the sample lamp is a well made and convenient article. We should have no hesitation in making use of such should circumstances allow in any particular cases. Regarding the proposal to send a set of lamps to Derby for Trial, as mentioned by telephone, we are of the opinion that this and other makes of headlamps, are unnecessarily large and heavy; equal "power" can surely be obtained with a lamp of smaller bulk. If you have sample of such smaller lamps available our Experimental Department at Derby would have pleasure in trying it. Yours faithfully, For Rolls-Royce Limited STAMP: DERBY 13 DEC 1921 ORDER OFFICE ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED | ||
