Dear Sirs,

CLEVELAND DISCOL.

Referring to our letter of the 26th April last, and your reply of the 1st May in connexion with a peculiarity which was occasionally noticed with the Rolls-Royce carburetter when using our alcohol blend spirit, you will, no doubt, recollect that you mentioned that it was not possible to substitute any other metal for the aluminium alloy used for the air valve, although you had under experimental test one or two alternative schemes.

Since we last communicated with you, one or two complaints have been brought to our notice, and whilst we do not suggest that the trouble is by any means wide-spread, we think you will agree that they are detrimental to our mutual interests. We should, therefore, be interested to know whether you have completed your tests.

We await the favour of your reply.

Yours faithfully,

CLEVELAND PETROLEUM PRODUCTS COMPANY.
