To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. c. to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}, C., Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} c. to Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} 86107 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.B/MJ.6.12.34. DISCHARGED BATTERIES IN BENTLEY CHASSIS. A new regulator is now available e.g. type B.2.CJ1, which will permit the dynamo on the Bentley chassis to deliver more current when the battery volts are low. The only difference between this regulator and the Standard B.2.CF1 regulator is that the latter has one extra turn on the series winding. In cases where customers complain of discharged batteries therefore we could fit the new regulator and have the old one converted by Messrs. C.A.V. and put into stock again. We suggest therefore that you secure a stock of the new regulators as soon as possible. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/H.E.West. | ||
