We are battling to get a successful petrol pump at the moment. The more we see of the A.C. type of pump, the less we like it. They have got petrols in Germany which will make the fabrics shrivel up in an alarming manner.

We find that 3 lbs/sq.in. on the needle valve of the carburetter is liable to cause violent fluctuations when slow running, unless the needle's seat is perfection.

One other point - do you have to selectively assemble your automatic adjustable tappets in order to get sufficiently fine clearance?

Kind regard to Mrs. Olley,

Yours sincerely,
