Bendix Ltd.,
Tyseley,
BIRMINGHAM.

For the attention of J.C. Irving Esq.,

Dear Sirs,

We enclose a drawing N.Sch.5178 for which you asked, and apologise for the condition of the tracing, which being obsolete, we have not had retraced. Will you please note the location of the pull rod from the rear equalizer.

Mr. Robotham has made no decision regarding the purchase of this brake and is away at present. We note you have already started to make the brake units: we should like to point out that until an order is definitely sent to you we do not consider that we are under any obligation to make any payment.

We thank you for the enclosures sent with your letter of 26th. August, which are very interesting.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
