Electric Clocks.
These are not removed from the makers packings until body is finished and the car is ready for despatch.
This is a problem for the makers. BY/RD. will take this up.

Electric Horns.
Failure of "soft" side of horn.
Due to an internal fault in the horn relay, which shows up when the battery is low.
All relays delivered up to May 1937 will be replaced by the makers.
Cricklewood should be supplied with a quantity of relays of the later type.
The satisfactory relays are marked 6-7 i.e. manufactured in 6th month 1937.

Fuse Box. Phantom 111. Armature Fuses.
Failure of armature fuses. Investigation shews that there have been no faults in the circuit. The conclusion drawn from this is that the fuses are faulty.

The Repair Department suggestion that the fuse be deleted is not agreed to.

A new type of fuse (using standard 25/30 pieces) has been designed for use in the armature circuit.

A note should be added in the instruction book to the effect that the ignition warning light (red) does not indicate that the dynamo is charging.

Location of Fuse Box on Dashboard.
Enquiries are to be made to find out the position of the proposal to move the fuse box from centre of dash to the site occupied by the petrol pump. The petrol pump has now been moved on to the frame.

Petrol Pumps. Phantom lll and 25/30.
Defective petrol pumps are returned to S.U. for reconditioning.

All these pumps are returned to RR. Derby, and they have to be examined and tested before being re-issued to Depots or put into service.

The Paris Depot are to carry out their own reconditioning in view of the freight and customers charges that would be involved.
