Dear Mr.Mead,

Thank you so much for your letter of Nov. 16th. I am sailing on the "Brittanic" on Dec. 30th, and therefore hope to get to Hartford some time after the New York Show. I should say about the 20th Jan.

In the meantime Mr.Coverley who controls the manufacture of all our experimental parts is sailing for America at once, and would very much like to see your factory. He is naturally interested in production rather than engineering. He is making the trip specifically to find out how you are getting on with lead bronze bearings and magnesium castings and forgings. I would be very grateful if you could let him see something of your factory.

Yours sincerely,
