X4240 16.11.22. FAN, SHUTTER & COWL TESTS. Graph A.{Mr Adams} With cowling off, shutters closed, large fan - gives distinctly more cooling. Graph B. Front of shutters open, the temperature again drops - all shutters open, falls still further, - as would be expected, then, open shutters and large fan produce the best result. Opening shutters makes more difference than changing the fan. Graph C. The cowling makes considerable difference with the large fan, little with the small one. Rise in Temp. produced by various gear. This graph shows that over a given distance the rise in temp. on bottom gear is approximately three times that on top. -------------------- | ||
