To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from BJ. Copy to PN.{Mr Northey} BJ10/H20.11.22. X4240 GOSHAWK Can you please let me know how many 20 h.p. cars are likely to be delivered without thermostat control of radiator shutters? My experience is that it is a considerable nuisance having so often to adjust the temperature. My opinion is that we shall receive numerous complaints as soon as these cars are delivered, on account of customers being worried by having to give this matter attention continuously, and still worse by customers failing to give it necessary attention and forgetting that the shutters are closed. What would be the result if a customer ran his car continuously for some hours on an average warm day with the shutters closed? We know a customer would always tell us that he had not done so, and we should have to put the car right for nothing. Can you please give me any idea of how much it would cost to fit thermostat control to cars which have not had it fitted originally. B.J. | ||
