The noise testing of a Watford E06 magneto with an enclosed armature tunnel.

We received this magneto from MX{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} with a verbal report to the effect that it was much quieter in operation than the standard E06. We have now run this magneto on the bench, and results or observations confirm this report. The gears which are made of bakelite are practically noiseless and the sleeve noise is almost totally eliminated.
