RR 238 (150 BKS.) (SH57.29-6-20.) MP 224358 ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To Order No. Customer's No. 19 would probably be reduced by using cams like the Lucas or B.T.H. This magneto we suggest should be placed on an experimental chassis (possibly 10EX) to ascertain if noise develops with use on chassis. We consider that this idea is better than the thicker aluminium armature plate, as in this case the sleeves are more rigidly enclosed, but the disadvantage is the increased weight; we suggest that the whole casting could be made of aluminium as in the Lucas. Signed H.E.W. This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
