Dear Sirs, PHANTOM III - CLUTCH. Confirming our conversation of this morning, would you kindly let us have a quotation for 500 centre plates fitted up with 'Thermoid' material in accordance with the detail drawings already in your possession, covered by arrangement drawing EX.27309. We would supply the centre plate drilled and finished, with the rivets to enable you to rivet the long plate to our centre plate. In regard to the question of the 100 clutches, we propose to accept the quotation of £3. 5. 0., and would like you to proceed with these as quickly as possible. We appreciate that the piece which will determine delivery is the "Thermoid" facing, which you are obtaining from U.S.A. In regard to the further suggestion that the two Companies should discuss the question of the cost of the 100 plates, which will be made by hand, whilst we are interested in the suggestion we do not propose to press the matter further unless you on your part consider it to be desirable.
