Attn. Mr. W. A.{Mr Adams} Robotham.

Dear Mr. Robotham:

I have your letter of the 6th and I am sorry you misunderstood me when I wrote you in regard to the cost of the driven members that we made for you. There were ten of these jobs at a cost of $64.19 each. I realize that this may seem high, however there is so much hand work to these jobs and we had to make some tools, of course, and I just averaged the entire cost over the ten jobs. You can appreciate that we have no profit in these, we are glad to be able to work with you and hope that we have arrived at something that will give you the right kind of performance regardless of whether you purchase it from us or Borg and Beck at Leamington.

With kindest regards, I am

Yours very truly,

LONG MANUFACTURING DIVISION
