Messrs Sheffield-Simplex Ltd.
Canbury Park Road,
KINGSTON-ON-THAMES.

FOR ATTENTION OF MR. ABELL.

Dear Sirs,

Our Sales Dept. (Lord Herbert Scott) have handed to us particulars of the Sheffield-Simplex dipping lamps for our comments.

We think that the best way for us to arrive at a true and just conclusion would be for us to fit a set to one of our experimental cars. We therefore would be glad if you would send us a set of lamps, with controls suitable for fitting to a Phantom car. These should be despatched to Rolls-Royce Ltd. Derby, for the attention of Mr. Hives.

We enclose herewith a sketch shewing the dimensions of the lamp sockets on the front cross member, and we will instruct our Works to send you a pair of paper shanks.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
