X206 Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}15/KW. 24th April, 1936. J.N. Longley, Esq., Chief Chemist, Messrs. Ferodo Ltd., Chapel-en-le-Frith. Dear Mr. Longley, I have had a complete set of Bentley brake shoes despatched to you for lining with Ferodo 6077. The two sets of rear shoes can be run in on the Bentley rig; and if the front shoes fit I should be glad if you would run these in also. You will no doubt discover that to line the tipping shoes it is necessary to remove them. As regards payment for the 3 complete sets of Ferodo I ordered verbally, I will have an official order sent to you but it would be best for you to retain the material and fix it to shoes for us from time to time, as required. Kind regards. Yours very truly, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
