Aluminium Brake Drums on Bentley.
Referring to N.Sch.4796/8, arrangements of aluminium brake drums on respectively rear and front brakes, the locking pieces preventing the liners turning in the drums are on each drawing called for in S/M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} We now wish to make these locking pieces in the same material as the liners themselves. This material is still the subject of experiment, but the first ones will no doubt be made in Nickel cast iron, which will be a suitable material for the locking pieces.
