In accordance with your request in Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}5/G.1.10.37 we have asked Park Ward to proceed with the full-sized drawing to the original design. We suggest, however, that as ~~a~~ cars with the boot at the back arranged without the luggage platform would be a very undesirable arrangement~~s~~ from a sales point of view, and in our view would not appeal, you should ask Park Ward to design this so that the platform could be incorporated. In view of the weight of this platform possibly this might afford an excellent opportunity for Park Ward and yourselves to study ways and ~~meant~~ of reducing the weight, but we suggest to build and test a car with a body of a design which is not likely to sell is not serving the most useful purpose. We take it that No. 2 B.III will have a body on the lines which we have suggested, and for which no doubt you will prepare the necessary drawing. Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} | ||
