Messrs. Rolls Royce Limited,
DERBY.

For the attention of Mr. N.R. Chandler.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 16th. instant and feel that as a result of the visit of your Messrs. Chandler and Goodall on Friday last, the 17th. instant, that there is a clearer understanding between us relative to difficulties encountered in production with the special 13½" driven plates fitted with Thermoid Friction facings.

We further understand that we shall be hearing from your Mr. Goodall in due course regarding the proposed modification in connection with the question of inspection.

Reverting to the second paragraph of your letter, we note that we shall received your definite advice regarding the proposed change over from facings of the present type to Thermoid Facings on the 10" and 11" driven plates ex-service and feel that it is hardly necessary for us to remind you that due to these facings being imported that consideration must be given to the delay occasioned in obtaining the necessary material.

We are,

Yours faithfully,
BORG & BECK COMPANY LIMITED.
