In connection with RR.Schemes 291-196
the following details fitted to both
Dampers giving extra clearance between
Lever and Suspension Bolt.

F.100750 Connecting Tubes.
F.100751 " Tube Cap.
F.100752 Outer Ball Pad.
F.100738/9 Ball End Pins.
F.100740/1 Main Levers.
Loads set.- H.P. 40 lbs.
L.P. 40 lbs.

Front Axle Control Dampers LOP.F.100622 - RR.Scheme 269.

Hand Controll d Dampers - 3 Point Mounting-
J.III. Type.
Off-Side Damper - fitted up as follows.-

Screwed Gland Type Main Cylinder F.100742
modified to F.100737 - containing 8 Coil
Asbestos Packing. - R.2129 Cover.
F.100653 Steel Valve "Hat" clearance
increased to .010.

Near Side Damper - fitted up as follows.-

F.100743 Main Cylinder - 3 Point Mounting
fitted with F.100729 Stiffer Cover-
containing 4 Coil Asbestos Packing and
F.59324 Rubber.
F.100653 Steel Valve "Hat" clearance
increased to .0075.
The following details fitted to both
Dampers.
F.59279 Steel Expanding Disc's replaced
by Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}918 Flat Alum Disc's.
F.58845 Inter: & Main Lever Bolts drilled
to latest drawings.
Diaphragms-2ply Bladder plus AC Fabric-
1 off each.
Shorter control Plungers Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}919 fitted
in place of F.100655.
Lighted Valve Springs 100 lbs 1" Rating
fitted-replaces F.59303.
Longitudinal Oil Grooves in all Main Bearings
to Drawings F.100736/7-F.59280-F.100728.
