TROUBLES: Car in accident - rear axle and petrol tank damaged, body badly damaged.
Mileage: 1374
CAUSE OR REMEDY: Repaired in Paris.

ROW 2:
TROUBLES: Steering heavy and bad for road shocks.
Mileage:
CAUSE OR REMEDY: Pivots not getting sufficient lubrication (re-designed) Later type side steering tube springs improved shocks.

ROW 3:
TROUBLES: Brakes very consistent - require excessive pressure. P.W.B's jugger - brake application affects steering.
Mileage:
CAUSE OR REMEDY: Braking system discarded.

ROW 4:
TROUBLES: Exhaust manifold cracked. Exhaust down pipe fouled by dynamo coupling. Exhaust throttle sticks.

CAUSE OR REMEDY: Exhaust system re-designed to overcome these troubles.

TROUBLES: Oil on front brakes from toggles.
Mileage:
CAUSE OR REMEDY: Toggle shafts fitted with oil baffles on later cars.

TROUBLES: A.T. speedometer failed.
Mileage: 3972
CAUSE OR REMEDY:

ROW 7:
TROUBLES: 3 side steering tube springs broken.
Mileage: 3747, 3971
CAUSE OR REMEDY: Later type springs completed 10,000 miles successfully.

ROW 8:
TROUBLES: 2 exhaust valves burnt out.
Mileage: 3228, 3289
CAUSE OR REMEDY: Old type valve.

ROW 9:
TROUBLES: Steering arm bolts stretched.
Mileage: 6107
CAUSE OR REMEDY: Small dia. bolts.

ROW 10:
TROUBLES: Valve spring broken.
Mileage: 5679
CAUSE OR REMEDY:

TROUBLES: Windscreen frame broken - Wing stay broken - two spare wheel carrier broken.
