X7040 X5040 CAR PISTONS. ------------ We should like to know the position of the following piston, i.e., whether made and tested, made, or making. S.S. ----- E.79500 (LEC.2737) Features: (1) 4.125" long. (long skirt.) (2) 4 rings - all pinned. (3) New gudgeon pin retaining rings. (4) Thinner diagonal webs in head. E.79355 (1) 4.125" long. (2) 5 Rings as Phantom - 3 pinned. This appears to be the production edition of E.79500. L.E.C. 2729. Built up piston of Invar with aluminium side- pieces and head. 20 HP. ====== L.E.C. 2693 (3.250 bore.) E.55324. (1) 3.625" long. (2) New method of retaining gudgeon pins.
