SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} FROM R.{Sir Henry Royce} Copy to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} x7040 SECRET. 18-EX. R.5/M16.7.29. X. 7040 X. 7770 With reference to the above car which I promised to send to London on Monday last, I decided after all to send it to Derby as the pistons were somewhat defective, and would cause a bad impression, so it went to Derby on Sunday, where it may have the latest proportioned pistons fitted, and sent from there to you. I am still extremely pleased with the 20 HP. which has the full move for acceleration and high speed power, equivalent to 'Japan'. 70 m.p.h. seems easily reached by its speed indicator.
