Customer complaint about faulty Lodge C.9 ignition plugs taken from a pre-war 32-RD car.

With reference to Mr.Bellringer's complaint of the above, we have received from him 2 sample faulty plugs which I have sent to you for inspection. I shall be glad to have a copy of your report on these faulty plugs. According to the label, these have been taken out of 32-RD car, which is a pre-war model. I have asked Mr.Bellringer whether this engine was an (struck through) one which was particularly inclined to oil up, and whether the plugs were taken from the intermediate or pocket position.
