X541 MARTINDALE [Signature] c.c. Mess.RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}, HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/JW [Strikethrough] E/HDY.{William Hardy}3/HP.5.4.36. Servo - 25/30 and Bentley. Will you kindly instruct that the rivets which are at present used to secure together the two levers of the balance lever of the Servo are replaced by bolts as was done on the Phantom III servo. This change has been asked for by the Experimental Department as the result of two failures of riveted attachments on Experimental cars. It is not thought that there is any particular urgency as the failures have been caused by exceptional conditions unlikely to occur in general use. E/HDY.{William Hardy} | ||
