This car is running on the road with all the new features fitted to it except the crankshaft balance weights and flywheel. The crankshaft scheme was not finally agreed to until two or three days ago.
We have also received a scheme from W.W. for thinner flange to the flywheel, which is a definite advantage and one which we ought to get on this car.
Another point we have added since we last saw you is improved shape of exhaust valves. On the last two 10,000 miles tests we have run in France on 25 HP. cars these have given trouble, and with the increase in power they are likely to give more trouble. We have a W.W. scheme for a modified shape of valve and this is being fitted.
The correct engine unit with all these new parts is expected to be finished early next week. In the meantime the car is being proved out with a temporary unit. The additional modifications can all be made out from existing material.
