J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} BARCLAY Esq.,
Messrs. Jack Barclay & Co., Ltd.,
Hanover Square,
LONDON W.1.

Dear Mr. Barclay,

I am so sorry I was out when you rang up last Thursday, the one day I have been away for months.

It is very kind of you to have taken so much trouble to find a Citroen and I have been attempting to get a decision at this end, but I fear I have not been successful, so we will have to let this particular car go.

Would it be possible to obtain one of the 15 H.P. ones in fairly good condition. Possibly you have one in stock?

I think when Harry Wood communicated with you, he mentioned a Fiat 500. We have come to the conclusion that this is rather too small for our purpose, so are washing it out.

He also mentioned the 1938 Century Buick 6-light saloon, which we have for sale. Do you think that there is any likelihood of your being able to dispose of it for us, or doing a part exchange deal with the 15 H.P. Citroen?

I fear you must be having a pretty frightful time just now. Let us hope, however, that it will not be long before we are back to something like normal once again.

Yours sincerely,
