SEIZING OF CONTACT BREAKER FINGER ON 20/25 AND 40/50 HP. BATTERY IGNITION. Referring to your Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst4/MA.20.12.33., we have not had a great deal of trouble due to seizing of the contact breaker finger, but we have certainly had one or two instances. The most recent has been on chassis no. GHW-52, (Mr. Caulfield of Buxton), when a complaint of persistent mis-firing was eventually traced to this cause when we were able to examine the chassis.
