I am very pleased that you have been so successful with Mr. Ridlington concerning our standard over-rider being made for our cars only by Wilmot-Breeden. I will make the necessary arrangements for the tools to be made. We are very anxious to get the rear bumpers moving. At the moment Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} is doing a scheme drawing which will be sent to you so that you can mark on it the exact shape of the bar. Directly I receive the drawing from you I will discuss the matter with Mr. Breeden and let you have particulars of deliveries and cost. Will you let me know the quantity which you require? Naturally a larger quantity is more helpful when dealing with a firm like Wilmot-Breeden's. WHEEL COVERS. Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} has handed me your note on the above ref. Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders}12/AH.30.4.38. I have not had the opportunity yet to discuss the matter with Mr.Breeden, but will do so at the earliest chance. I should think that it is most unlikely there would be much advantage in going to Wilmot-Breeden's for hand produced wheel covers. That is that we expect the saving in price to be due to quite a large tool cost. Can you please therefore let me know what you are at present paying for various wheel covers and the maximum quantities which we could anticipate would be used. I was very sorry to be absent from the Works when you were here on the 28th. but hope that by the next time you are hear there will be a lot of information available.
