Pressed steel road wheels for Bentley models 111 and 50.

ROAD WHEELS. Herewith is PD.187 Pressed Steel Road Wheels for use when the semi-floating rear axle is fitted. Two wheels are shewn, viz. one for a 6.5 x 16" tyre, and one for a 7 x 16" tyre. The latter is built .250 further out from the bolting face, so that the rim and tyre may clear the cross steering tube, and is intended for B.50. The wheel follows the design sent in by Messrs. Sankey & Sons, and the drawing will be sent to them for further comment, as we should like them to produce the wheels. DA. {Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
