44647 Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 2/LG. E.H. Micklewood, Esq., 16, Sutherland Rd., Plymouth. 12th. May 1925. Dear Sir, Answering your letter of the 9th.inst. We attach a report in connection with the experiments carried out on your engine. You will see that in our opinion, serious modifications are required to the engine before it would develop any power. During our final testing, the piston failed. Our Chief Engineer (Mr. Royce) considered that no useful purpose would be served in running the engine further owing to the urgency of other experimental work. Yours faithfully, | ||
