SPEED TRIALS

Written by Mr Royce on March 11th 1912.

Handed to T.C. on March 13th.

Mr Royce said -

Chassis 2002 with marine engine should be rigged up for a 100 miles in one hour test on Brooklands, or, as an alternative, the marine engine should be fixed in the Sluggard chassis after the Sluggard trial.
A still larger oil pump should be fitted by increasing the length of the gear wheels or making the pitch coarser.
A large suction pipe and filter should be fitted.
