19 CHASSIS FOR INDIA OFFICE.
RE R.R. TYPE OF AIR PUMP.

......

With reference to the proposal to use the R.R. type of Air Pump on the India Office chassis, I wish to draw attention to the following paragraph.

"The India Office representatives wish us to assure ourselves that the Pump will be adequate for inflating the tyres, which will be running at a pressure of 105 lbs, front, and 125 lbs, on the rear, respectively."

The Experimental Department should therefore satisfy themselves that our pump is satisfactory, and let us know the result, as we shall hold up issuing instructions for this pump until we receive confirmation from the Exp.Dept, that the R.R. Pump is considered satisfactory.
