| contd :- -4- Its acceleration above 30 m.p.h. is very good indeed. The engine is smooth at the higher speeds in contra distinction to the Daimler. Mon. Weymann states that he can drive all day at 3000 r.p.m. and that it will turn over at 3500. Actually we had no opportunity of driving it above 65 m.p.h! It certainly gave the impression of being remarkably fast. This car gave me as favourable an impression as any I have tried and certainly the high efficiency sleeve valve engine is very much more silent than the corresponding poppet valve engine as exemplified by the Hispano. 1804 MADE AT CROXLEY Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/W.A.Robotham. | ||
