24th January, 1934.

The Earl of Rothes,
30, St.{Capt. P. R. Strong} John's Wood Road,
LONDON, N.W.8.

Dear Lord Rothes,

We thank you for your letter of the 23rd inst.

The tyres which Mr. Robotham promised to send to your Factory were too worn to be of any value, and were left in France.

We have two similar cases of tyre wear on one of our Bentley Cars here, and these are being sent for the attention of Paul Worth, Esq.

The mileage of the tyres is 5,000.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
