Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}11/ML.8.8.40.

We are being pressed to release payment for the 4-cylinder crankcase and cylinder pattern RE.107, which was completed on 12.4.40.

Some small modifications were required to these patterns, which are enumerated forthwith.

They should really have been returned to the Pattern & Model Making Co., but the work was actually done here.

In fairness to R.R. I think we should debit the Coventry Pattern & Model Making Co., with the cost of these alterations.

Will you please give me an approximate estimate.

Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}
