Phantom III - Series II Specification.

ENGINE.

(1) Engine and Gear Box in one unit.
(2) Diagonal engine mounting - high central front mounting.
(3) 4 Port Cylinder Head.
(4) Delete hydraulic tappets - camshaft to suit.
(5) Delete cylinder head water rails.
(6) Less costly cylinder liners.
(7) Provision for larger bore.
(8) Integral balance weight crankshaft.
(9) Forged connecting rods.
(10) Delete Cee nuts from top water connections.
(11) Improved oil filler.
(12) Less costly sparking plugs - (Ceramic).
(13) Modified fan.
(14) Simplified exhaust system.
(15) Damper governor control with rods instead of Arens control.
(16) Simplified and less costly radiator - 1" lower radiator and bonnet.
(17) Delete radiator steam valve.
(18) Bonnet with concealed hinge.
