Dear Sirs,

We acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 9th inst., and thank you for calling our attention to the paragraph which appeared in "The Wallasey News."

It so happens that we have had correspondence with the Distributor who was responsible for the editorial in which a statement regarding your goodselves appeared, and in the words of this Distributor the reporter responsible for the article was "rather over enthusiastic" in his mention of your goodselves in connection with Ekco Car Radio.

We can assure you that such a statement could not emanate from this office, for supply to newspapers directly or indirectly through our Distributors, and in this instance the responsibility rested entirely upon the newspaper concerned.

We are grateful to you for calling our attention to this matter and will take any steps within our power to avoid recurrence.

Yours faithfully

For & on behalf of E.K.COLE LTD.,

(Sgd Walter M.York)

Publicity Supervisor.
