16153 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.2/MA. 25th April, 1935. Messrs.Philco Radio & Television Corporation of Great Britain, Ltd., Aintree Road, Perivale, Greenford, MIDDLESEX. Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of the 24th instant reference FW/WH. regarding the model 11T radio set removed from Mr.Wormald's car. We regret that this receiver has not been despatched from these Works due to the fact that there has been a certain amount of difficulty experienced with the Railway Co., regarding the carriage of radio sets and we have been waiting for a suitable opportunity when a chassis will be going up to town, the idea being to bring the radio set up by road. We are afraid therefore that unless you can send us a replacement receiver we shall have to wait until you receive Mr.Wormald's old receiver in order to bring it up to date. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
