Query regarding an invoice sent to owner B. Hopps for a replacement dynamo on chassis GLR-50.

We have recently rendered an invoice to this Owner amounting to £9.9.0., for changing over the dynamo of this car, and he has now written saying that our invoice has evidently been sent to him in error, and that it was agreed that the special high cut-put dynamo was to be supplied as a replacement free of charge. We cannot trace in our correspondence who arranged the question of charges. We understand your Department and EFC. discussed with Mr. Hopps the question of the fitting of the new dynamo, and we shall be glad to know if the question of charges was gone into at any time, and if so, whether it was agreed that no charge should be made.
