X.6005. 18.12.30. Extract from report on 18-GIV at 6,000 miles. DYNAMO High output 48 coib armature, suitable for half charge scheme. The dynamo has been sufficient for night driving of approx. 4 hours each run. There has been no failure of the lights. The dynamo cuts in at 17 mph. Its maximum charge during the day is 6 amps. With all lights, windscreen wiper, facier lights, there is a nominal charge of .5 of an ampere to 35 mph. At 40 m.p.h. there is a discharge of .1 ampere. At 60 m.p.h. 2 amperes. There has been an audible brush noise that could be complained of from the control brush. | ||
