(Dict. 17th)

Dear Sirs,

Confirming our telephone conversation this afternoon in connection with special Disc wheels which may be required for test on a Bentley chassis, we gave an estimated cost of £2 per wheel in enamelled finish, based on our design CDS.1132 for four off.

For temporary tools to produce this wheel we quoted a figure of £40.

We anticipate that delivery could be effected in approximately six weeks, should you ask us to proceed with an order.

In the event of your deciding to adopt such a wheel on production we would of course bear in mind the charge for sample equipment, and this would be reduced to a figure commensurate with that ultimately agreed for production.

With regard to the two rear hubs which you require broaching, we regret that without adaptors we could not process them, and - therefore - suggest slotting them. In view, however, of your ability to carry out this work yourselves, we understand you do not wish us to go further into the matter.

We shall be very interested to learn your wishes in regard to this equipment.

Yours faithfully,
FOR THE DUNLOP RUBBER CO. LTD.
