+ 2677 Exptl. Dept. RB{R. Bowen}/DWG.12/KW. 29th June, 1934. Messrs. S. Smith & Sons. (Motor Accessories) Ltd., Cricklewood Works, LONDON, N.W.2. Attention of Mr. Eckford. Dear Sirs, "Jackall" Compressor Pump. With reference to our conversation of Monday last, June 25th. We enclose two blue prints, one showing our Mechanical Petrol Pump and Drive complete, the other showing the drive eccentric as originally intended for the Bentley chassis. These we hope will be of use to you in making up a suitable drive for your Compressor Pump. If, however, you require further measurements please let us know. As Mr. Robotham explained, we think the hand operated pump fills our requirements but in the event of someone wanting a compressor pump we should have one to offer. Jackall Jacks. We shall be pleased to receive in due course one pair of Telescopic Jacks suitable for our front axle. Meanwhile on receipt of the "Lockhead" flexes we will continue our tests on the Jacks fitted at present. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
